Our Story

Sunny Paws Jax was founded by Hailey McDonald, a born and raised Jacksonville local who has loved animals for as long as she can remember. After years of hands on experience caring for dogs, cats, puppies, seniors, birds, rabbits, and small animals, she created Sunny Paws Jax to offer reliable, compassionate pet care close to home.

What started as a passion for helping pets stay comfortable in their own environment has grown into a trusted choice for in home pet sitting in Jacksonville. Today, Sunny Paws Jax proudly supports pet parents throughout Duval County, from the beaches, to Orange Park, and parts of Nassau County.

Every visit includes fresh food and water, potty breaks or litter box care, enrichment, and plenty of attention. For added peace of mind, we also offer helpful home check ins like mail pickup, plant watering, and general home monitoring while you’re away.
